The Mask Portfolio includes
12 limited edition archival prints,
printed on Lumajet Museum Parchment Paper.
The Mask Series are photographs of two screen-mesh
masks, which were constructed and painted during the
early 1900's and used in French pantomime. I have taken
the masks and photographed them with a variety of props
in different lighting conditions. I explore a variety
of psychological, mythological, religious, and artistic themes,
using the "mask" and its connotations as a central focus.
